Ingredients

  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 3 scallions (white and light green part), chopped
  • 4 radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber, peeled, 1/4-inch dice
  • 12 cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 8 fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground sumac
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely grated
  • A large handful or two of ZaZa Za'atar Pita Chips

Make it

In a large serving bowl, combine the romaine, scallions, radishes, cucumber, tomatoes, mint and parsley.

In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, lemon juice, vinegar, sumac, salt, pepper, and garlic. Pour over the salad and toss well.

Add the pita chips and toss again. Serve right away.
