Are ZaZa pita chips gluten-free?
Our pita chips contain gluten.
Are ZaZa pita chips baked or fried?
Our pita chips are baked, never fried.
What is za’atar?
Za’atar refers both to the name of an herb as well as the name of a spice blend that typically contains ground za’atar, sumac, sesame seeds and salt (recipes vary). It tastes herbal, lemony and nutty and is completely addictive. We make our own custom blend.
What is sumac?
Sumac is a spice that is derived from ground, dried sumac berries. These berries are dark crimson in color and grow on deciduous shrubs. (There are also sumac shrubs that bear white berries. These are poisonous and should be avoided). The flavor of sumac is tart and lemony but also slightly sweet and floral. It’s what gives our za’atar pita chips their great complexity.
Why sea salt?
We love sea salt for its clean, bright taste and fine, sparkly crystals.

All of our purveyors are top notch and 3rd party audited.

Can I cancel my order once placed?
We unfortunately are unable to cancel orders that are processed or have been fulfilled.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we do not have an exporting license. But we’re working on it!
